This is a working draft, not legal advice. Fill in every highlighted field and have a qualified lawyer review it before publication.
1. Who these terms are with
This site is operated by [Registered entity name], registered in India under company number [CIN], at [Registered address]. Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. What you may do with our content
We would rather our work was read and circulated than locked away, so the permissions here are deliberately generous.
- Read, print and share articles for personal or internal business use
- Quote us with attribution and a link to the original article
- Circulate our research papers internally or externally, complete and unaltered, with attribution
- Cite our data and analysis in your own work, crediting TechNewz.live
3. What you may not do
- Republish articles in full, on any platform, without written permission
- Resell our research papers, or present them as your own or your organisation's work
- Remove attribution, branding or source information from anything you circulate
- Scrape the site systematically, or use it to train a machine learning model, without written agreement — see section 4
- Use our name or marks to imply we endorse you, your product or your research
4. Text and data mining
We expressly reserve all rights in respect of text and data mining, including for the purposes of training or fine-tuning machine learning models. This reservation is made under Article 4(3) of EU Directive 2019/790 and any equivalent provision elsewhere.
If you want to license our archive for model training, that is a conversation we are willing to have: licensing@technewz.live. Taking it without asking is not.
5. Research papers
Our papers are provided free in exchange for your contact details, which are handled as described in the privacy notice. They are vendor-neutral: no vendor has paid for, commissioned or reviewed any paper before publication.
They represent our analysis at the time of writing. They are not investment advice, legal advice or a recommendation to buy any product or service, and you remain responsible for your own decisions.
6. Accuracy, and what to do when we get it wrong
We take reasonable care to be accurate. We will sometimes be wrong anyway. When we are, we correct the article and publish a dated note explaining what changed — see our corrections policy.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for the content of external sites we link to.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of business arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
8. Comments and submissions
If you send us a tip, correction or other material, you confirm you have the right to send it and you grant us permission to use it in our reporting. We protect sources — see how to contact us securely.
We may edit or decline to publish any submission, and we may remove content that is unlawful, defamatory or abusive.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version number and date at the top always reflect the current text. Material changes will be announced in the newsletter rather than left for you to discover.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of [city] have exclusive jurisdiction — except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
